God will use our creativity
to build a community
that brings Life to the world.

[ ministry ]
set apart is a non-profit, creative arts ministry that believes God has set each of us apart for a specific purpose that is to be realized during our lifetime. We believe that these personal missions are not just to be used for individual benefit, but for the benefit of many. Our objective is to spread this same belief to others and to help them achieve their God-given mission in life.
Specifically, this ministry will help artists and creative individuals:
As these individuals engage in a relationship with God, discover more about who they were created to be, and do what they were created to do, we will find ways that we can be
set apart + together.
[ model ]
Describing a creative arts ministry to a society who often struggles to see the purpose and value of art as it is, has proven to be a challenging task. We have put together the information below to help you gain a better understanding of the real heart of our model.
Is set apart a ministry, a church or a parachurch?
In a lot of ways, set apart is a combination of all three. In service, we are like a ministry, focusing on meeting the needs of a particular part of His flock and sharing His redeeming power along the way. Missionally, we are like a church, having the same overall goal of assembling and leading people to salvation and a relationship with Jesus. Functionally, we are most like a parachurch, working alongside the church to evangelize and serve the community. Specifically, we will come alongside individuals, churches, other non-profits and community groups in innovative and creative ways. We will use art and creativity as tools to share the Gospel and to help people accomplish what God created them to do.
